Lac La Biche Minor Hockey will host their Spring AGM May 13 2026 at 6:30pm in Lac La Biche at the Bold Center Community Hall.   Please note all Division Directors, President, Secretary and Registrar are open for election.  New this year the there will be a director at U11 and at U13, and a change to the Female Director position which will now be a female division liaison open for election.

Notice of Proposed Bylaw Amendments and Member Vote

Members are hereby notified that proposed amendments to the organization’s bylaws will be presented for approval. A summary of the proposed changes is included below/attached.

Members will have the opportunity to vote on these amendments at the AGM on May 13 2026.

Please review the proposed amendments carefully prior to voting.

The below is proposed to add to the bylaws:

REMOVAL

A Member of the Executive Committee or Member of the Board of Directors shall be relieved of their duties and removed as a Member of the Executive Committee or as a Member of the Board of Directors in the following circumstances:

a) upon the failure to attend 3 consecutive meetings without the approval of the President;

b) upon 75% majority vote of the Members of the Executive Committee on the basis that a Member is doing an unsatisfactory job or offending By-Laws, Regulations or the integrity of the Board of Directors; and

c) upon a Special Resolution of the general membership at a General Meeting.

REMUNERATION

No Directors, Officers or members of the Executive Committee shall receive any remuneration for their services.
